- OPTIMAL OPERATION: The tekmar Universal Sensors have a brass sleeve for fast response and a wide operating range of -60 to 255 degrees F. These sensors can be used in a multitude of applications. The 071 is supplied with 1 FT (300 mm) of two conductor wire.This unit features accuracy of plus / minus 0.2 degrees C on readings.
- QUALITY MATERIALS: This sensor features a very fast temperature response to ensure the most up to date readings to make sure the necessary reactions can happen on a quick basis. In order to protect itself from the elements, a corrosion resistant brass sleeve is placed on this product to endure the storm.
- QUICK INSTALLATION: If a Universal Sensor Enclosure 080 is used to mount the 071, follow the installation instructions provided with the Data Brochure D 080. Without the Universal Sensor Enclosure 080, it is necessary to connect 18 AWG wire to the two sensor wires. Wire nuts can be used to hold the wires together. Follow the sensor testing instructions given in this brochure and then connect the wires to the control.
- ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS: This units dimensions measure 3/8" OD x 3/4" (9.5 OD x 19 mm), with an operating range of -60 to 255 degrees Fahrenheit (-51 to 125 degrees C). The Sensor is an NTC thermistor that operates within 10 k ohms at 77 degrees Fahrenheit (25 degrees C plus / minus 0.2 degrees C) Beta = 3892.
